About Steve Crane

Steve Crane is a musician, songwriter, producer and artist from Scarborough, Ontario currently living in Surrey, British Colombia. He's been a touring and recording musician playing extensively across Canada, the United States and parts of Europe with various rock bands since graduating highschool. He  always liked to draw and do sketches since childhood and took art classes throughout grade school but only started painting seriously in 2002 after trading a friend a few guitar lessons for a few painting lessons. His first painting as a result of this trade off was Jimi Hendrix and the second one was Keith Richards. After that one he landed a gig for Boston Pizza trying his hand at chalkboards which were very well received. Since then he has done some portraits for a few clients and a mural and some banners. He would love to spend more time creating more artwork and welcomes the opportunity to do so. You can currently see Steve performing onstage with U4 - Canada's premier U2 tribute - and behind the scenes as stage manager, guitar tech and merchandise manager for multiplatinum Canadian rock legends "Trooper".
